About Me

"I am the only person in the world I should like to know thoroughly." - Oscar Wilde

This journal records my attempt to reach $90 million in ten years with a starting value of $7,000. I know this is a very, very large goal, but I do believe this is achievable. I plan to take a very disciplined approach with investing. My approach is simple and includes an options trading strategy that is comprised of - compounding coupled with selling put and call options. This allows me the confidence to envision reaching my goal. There will be multiple layers to my discipline allowing flexibility to meet realistic needs such as paying my bills expenses and fun spending. I do want to be clear that most money made through options will be reinvested into stocks. That is non-negotiable.

Let me start with sharing my rules:

1. Investments and options in only quality companies.

2. Do not borrow beyond 35%.

3. Invest for the long run.

4. Do not get overly optimistic.

6. Buy when market is overly pessimistic.

A bit about me: I’m an average guy, have a degree in economics, father of a teenager and elementary school kids, worked in technology and owned a couple small businesses. That said, I am also a retail investor so please do take what I write here as investment advice. This is simply a recorded journey to reaching a goal that most may believe is unthinkable.
